You can still prepare the following information for your engineer or building authority. This checklist does not calculate or approve member sizes.
- Site location, proposed use, dimensions and whether the structure is attached or freestanding.
- Roof covering, supporting structure, ground conditions and proposed openings.
- Site wind classification and applicable local approvals, confirmed by a qualified professional.
- Required assessment of members, connections, bracing, footings and treatment.
- Supplier product documentation and any existing plans or reports.
